Ghost money burners

Tainan, Taiwan 2015. Traditionally Chinese believe money is also used in dead-man’s world, therefore family members or friends will burn the so called ‘ghost money’ for the dead people. The tin plate burners in the photos are spared to be used in the festival when too many people going to burn the ghost money at the same time. Nowadays some cities or temples in Taiwan banned the ghost money burning traditions because of environment pollution concerned.
