Wallride practice

Shanghai, 2012. Marvel-Flex with Velostimat Wollensak 3.5/83.

The GP3 120 PAN film was just expired less than 2 months ago, but the backing paper ink already transferred to the print if you check the photo closely. Which is also a more common issue happened to Chinese 120 films both Shanghai GP3 and Lucky film than other brands. I kept the film in the refrigerator since I acquired it from someone about a year ago together with Tmax 120. No idea how he kept the film before me. Some were OK, some even worse.

The Pen

Dongjiadu, Shanghai, 2012. Retina IIIc, Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar, Retina-Xenon 2/50.

There’s no other word but a single Chinese character  (bi) meaning for ‘pen’. This is a traditional Chinese writing still been officially used in Hong Kong and Taiwan, while mainland China has simplified it to  (bi) instead. There’s no other description, but I believe the shop owner was telling people the pen is now available selling in the shop. A bit unusual, though. I was wondering why I was attracted by the writing and have finally figured out because it looks like  (wu), another Chinese character for ‘dancing’. You can copy  and paste it on google image search page, you’ll know what I mean.

Posing Snow White

Shanghai, 2012. I love how this kitty posed as if she’s prepared to take the shot. Unfortunately, the GP3 120 PAN film was just expired less than 2 months ago, and the backing paper ink already transferred to the print if you check the photo closely with circle dots and dirty grainy looks. This is also a bit common issue happened to Chinese 120 films both Shanghai GP3 and Lucky film than other brands. I kept the film in the refrigerator since I acquired it from someone about a year ago together with Tmax 120. No idea how he kept the film before me.

Yashica-Mat 124G with Yashinon 3.5/80. Expired Shanghai GP3 100.
